Laos will debut in Miss Universe pageant with Souphaphone Somvichith, who was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2017 on August, 26. This Southeast Asian nation is a landlocked country in the heart of the Indochinese peninsula, bordered by Myanmar, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
