Miss World 1971, the 21st edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 10 November 1971 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK. 56 contestants competed for the Miss World and Lúcia Petterle from Brazil won the crown of Miss World 1971. It was the first time that a Brazilian won the Miss World crown and it is still the only title until 2015. Members of Britain's Women's Liberation movement protested outside the Royal Albert Hall, London, where the 1971 Miss World competition took place.  

Catharina Choi, Miss World Brazil 2015, is in Switzerland to have an intense preparation to Miss World competition.  

Catharina Choi Nunes got a scholarship to Estácio University as prize for winning the Miss World Brazil 2015 title and she decided to donate it to the girls of Casa Vovó Ilza - one of the institutions assisted by her social project.
