Former Miss Globe International, Esma Voloder, was crowned Miss World Australia 2017.
Esma was also Miss Supranational Australia 2013 and was elected Miss Supranational Asia&Oceania during the international competition.
It was not her first attempt to be Miss World Australia, she competed in 2013 and in 2016 she was the 1st runner-up.
